Robert Purvis Plant Hire Ltd was founded in 1980 by Bob Purvis, since then the philosophy of the business has remained the same - to help our customers solve their problems and meet their goals cost-effectively and efficiently.  To achieve this, our continued investment in hire equipment, transport organisation, staff training, haulage fleet and service operation has been tailored to meet our customers needs resulting in the delivery of quality projects on time and on budget.

The company's expansion in 1982 led to a re-site of the office and yard from Cartmore Road to the purpose built premises at Cartmore Industrial Estate in Lochgelly, where the company continues to be based today.

Originally a plant hire company, over the past three decades it has diversified into other construction related divisions through the Purvis Group of Companies, including haulage, building supplies, civil engineering, demolition, groundworks, drainage, surfacing, recycling, tipping facilities, screening & crushing facilities, building contractors, electrical & mechanical services, steel building & cladding and steel design, erection and fabrication.

The company's progression into these markets has made the The Purvis Group a well respected one stop shop for the construction services market, serving Fife, Scotland and beyond.

Robert Purvis Plant Hire Ltd's experienced team can help with your equipment needs, our continued investment in new plant guarantees reliability and efficiency. This in addition to our competitive rates, can help you deliver your quality projects on time and on budget.
